Why you should never take advice from Eric
Eric Scheibeler hit 53 years old and felt like a failure in every meaningful area of life. He had gone bankrupt following a bad business deal, lost his home, had his salary cut in half at a failing company and realized his twenty eight marriage was coming to an end. The stress and heartbreak were overwhelming him.
Thinking about his life just took the breath right out of him. “Loser” was how he saw himself… he drank too much and began smoking to numb out.
He felt angry, ashamed and depressed. He was out of shape and felt as if the best years of life may have been behind him. It felt like the parade of life had passed him by and he did not know if he had the courage, hope or belief to stand back up and take one more swing for his dreams.
Not a fun guy to spend time with and certainly not one to take advice from.
But then, it happened. A miraculous shift occurred in working with a gifted life coach and focusing on very specific strategies – no hypey “woo woo”. In one short year’s time every part of his life turned completely around. He was shocked to learn (and live) how quickly you can move from crippling stress and depression to celebration.
It took a year and it took work. He now playfully refers to his previous self as “Angry Bastard Guy”. There is no magic genie but with specific tactics he went from broke to financial abundance, fat to fit with energy to burn and a joyful, happy life.
Now it is YOUR turn.
HERE’S A LIST OF
Overcome Fear and Change Your Life
Did you ever wonder if ONE day could really change your life? Many years ago something drew me to a little airport in Hazleton, Pennsylvania…
My confidence had never been that strong but something was compelling about the sheer adventure of skydiving. We went through hours of training with Don Kellner, the jumpmaster. I would soon learn that Don was the most experienced man alive, with more jumps than anyone on earth according to the Guinness book of world records — over 40,000 but who’s counting, right?
Your Life…. Before and After
P.S. I’m writing this because I just spent time
with my Dad. In the hardest, darkest times that I
faced this is what he told me.
In his words … “This too shall pass”. And he was always right.
And let me tell you …I’ve been knocked on
my ass more times than I can count.
How to Plan and Start a new Life
We have a black Labrador named Zack who is a great family dog but a notorious runaway. I mean this dog just loves to run. He literally rips through second floor screen windows and jumps out to just go for a run.
One day he made a typical escape and I ran through neighborhood after neighborhood looking for him. It was very hot and I was sweating and getting more and more angry as I ran and called for him with no luck. I ran and walked through countless neighborhoods and finally went back and got our car.
